One thing that made this episode so appealing for us, and hopefully for you, is The Rustic Overtones' history together as musicians. It is one that is matched by few other ensembles.

In this episode we learned about the struggle of signing onto a major label and also embracing the grassroots ideals of Doing it Yourself. What a roller coaster these guys have been on. At the heart of it though, they're all super talented musicians who enjoy playing more than anything else.
